Hello. Do you have a telephone dial up connection to the Internet (as opposed to a broadband connection)? If so please could you help by visiting http://www.stewardshipcommunity.com/low This version of the site is being developed for people around the world who have slow internet connections and we need to see if the site is usable. If you can help, please can you visit the link above and time how long the first page takes to load. And then have a look around the site and see what it feels like to use. Please then email me from the 'contact us' page on the site and let me know the answers to any or all of the questions below. If you know of anyone else with a dial up internet connection, it would be great if you could ask them to help too. Thanks so much for your time and Best wishes Helen Editor Questions: 1. How long did the home page take to load the first time you opened it?* 2. Did the home page load all at once or did it arrive bit by bit? 3. Did other pages open quickly? 4. Is there any other feedback you are able to give us? 5. If you are a new visitor: what is the purpose of the site? * If you are using a Microsoft Windows here is a clock in the bottom right hand corner of your screen which, if you double click on it, will open in a small window and show seconds. Resize your browser so that you can see both the clock and the browser at the same time. THANK YOU. |
